Hesperia
Academy for integral education

To live is to learn; and to learn means to understand, in an ever deeper way, how to align oneself with Truth, Beauty and Goodness in order to erase everything that could still separate us from the Divine and to enter into the full acceptation of what we are offered in this life.

This learning is a triple process encompassing the integrality of our person. It involves knowledge about transcendence and tradition, it involves the practical component of transferring this knowledge into our personal lives and devotion, and it involves a slow personal maturing that can often impose a paradoxical, cyclical logic of its own.

Speaking about the divine transcendence can only be theoretical to a certain degree: sooner or later, it implies dealing with the multiple past and present traditions of religion and history, as the prophets, saints and thinkers of the past have outlined paths which can offer precious orientations in the wilderness of our own interior. This is even more important as we are by no means independent bystanders and "self-realised" subjects: we are born in a body, a family, a landscape, a country, a civilisation and a period of time who have all played a major role in defining who we are and what we seek.

Hence, finding the way to the divine implies making good use of what providence has given us in terms of seeing our world, and thus, discovering the divine transcendence within and without and understanding true tradition are inseparable from each other.

These preliminary remarks constitute the basis of our educational programme, organised in three stages:

  • Rediscovering Tradition

  • Understanding Transcendence

  • Practicing Divine Unity.
